Industry CCUS 2025
26-27 November in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Crowne Plaza Amsterdam - South

After the great success of our Industry CCUS 2024 Conference that gathered over 100 attendees from over 20+ countries, we are thrilled to announce the upcoming edition.

The conference will take place on 26-27 November 2025 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Exclusive Site Visit 26 November 2025 - Limited SPACES

The day before the main event, on 25th November 2025, a limited number of conference participants will have a unique opportunity to visit AEB Amsterdam Waste-to-Energy plant.

AEB generates energy from waste through six incineration lines, four at the Waste-to-Energy Plant, operating since 1993 with a combined capacity of 850,000 tonnes per year. The two newest lines at the High-Efficiency plant maximize energy and material output. From one tonne of waste, we produce 628 kWh of electricity and 208 kWh of heat, powering the grid and heating 30,000 homes in North Amsterdam.

Register your attendance for the site visit list when booking for the event. There is no extra charge, the spaces are allocated on first come first served basis.

7th European Conference | Trade & Power
Biomass PowerON 2025
8-9 October 2025, Stockholm, Sweden
Hilton Slussen, Guldgränd 8 Stockholm, Sweden

Website

After last successful edition in Copenhagen, with around 100 biomass specialists and nearly 30 excellent speakers, we have pleasure to invite you to the 7^th European Conference Biomass PowerON taking place on 8-9 October 2025. This year we are moving back to Stockholm, Sweden.

Biomass is key to a low-carbon future, offering sustainable solutions for energy, fuels, and bio-based products while reducing reliance on fossil fuels. Negative-emission bioenergy technologies, like bioenergy with carbon capture and storage (BECCS), enhance energy system flexibility and integrate renewables.

The 7th Biomass PowerON programme explores biomass resources, sustainability, policies, and advanced conversion technologies. Key themes include biomass for heat and power, bioenergy's role in decarbonisation, and the forest industry's response to increasing wood biomass demand. Discussions will also focus on EU policy impacts on the bioenergy sector, spotlighting legislation's influence on green solutions and biomass integration into a sustainable energy system.

SITE VISITS 7 OCTOBER

Register your attendance for the tours when booking for the event. There is no extra charge, the spaces are allocated on first come first served basis

The day before the main event, on 7th October 2025, a limited number of conference participants will have a unique opportunity to visit Söderenergi The Igelsta CHP Plant and Stockholm Exergi's Bio-power plant KVV8. The Igelsta CHP Plant significantly reduces local carbon emissions by approximately 75,000 tons annually—equivalent to the emissions from 25,000 cars. The plant generates both electricity and district heating by efficiently utilizing recycled wood waste and forest residues. With a 50 meter-high main boiler and a 373 tonne turbine, the facility processes over 600,000 tonnes of biofuel each year. The visit will also showcase Stockholm Exergi's Bio-power plant where heat and electricity are produced from solid biofuels, woodchips derived from branches, tops, and bark from the forestry and sawmill industries. We will also visit their carbon capture research facility, connected to KVV8 and operational since 2019.

7th European Conference and Expo
Biogas PowerON 2025
24-25 September, Hamburg, Germany

Grand Elysée Hotel

Website

Following last year's great response to our Biogas PowerON 2024 with over 140 participants from 21+ countries we're announcing next edition,

7th European Conference Biogas PowerON 2025, with great excitement. The conference will take place on 24-25 September 2025 in Hamburg, Germany.

The global biogas market in 2024 is witnessing significant growth, driven by the increasing demand for renewable energy and government policies promoting sustainability. Technological advancements in biogas production, particularly in anaerobic digestion, are improving efficiency and reducing costs. Biogas plays a crucial role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, contributing to both energy security and waste management solutions.

Key drivers of growth include government incentives, rising clean fuel demand, and biogas' potential in the transportation sector. Europe, North America, and emerging markets in Asia-Pacific are expected to lead the way in production and adoption. By 2030, global biogas production is projected to increase substantially, with Europe aiming to produce 35 bcm annually. The role of biogas in achieving net-zero emissions targets and supporting sustainable infrastructure is becoming more important.
