There is no extra charge to attend the site visit, but spaces are allocated on first register, first served basis. Book you space sooner to avoid disappointment. The Hamburg-Lohbrügge plant uses woody biomass an produces hot thermal oil to drive a organic rankine cycle (ORC) to produce electricity. The generator capacity amounts to close to 2 MWe and the thermal input of the combustion system is close to 10 MWth.
